I was pretty much a clueless fellow, not having much idea of what to do in life.
Everyday goes by routinely. Day in, day out, its always the same. So, after 13 years of education done and over with, that which includes primary, secondary and pre-tertiary education, I had to sit down and just think, so what the heck am I going to do in life. Anything too theoretical are out of the picture. I’m not any good with anything too calculative. Engineering provided me an insight into what that industry is all about but I could never picture myself working deeply into that field. So, I had to evaluate myself. I find myself to be a very visual person. Imagery catches my attention, I could be looking at a picture longer than I could read the latest edition of the Straits Times. Visual results gets me most satisfied. I also find myself a very hands-on, would prefer practical than sitting down and staring at an equation of the universe person.
So that being said, I indulge myself in loads of photography, photoshop, and soon to be into dreamweaver and flash as I would like to go freelance, creating websites for clients as well as to create an online portfolio showcasing my works in both photography and web design.
In my spare time, I like to do a bit of cooking. I don’t know why but I am drawn to kitchen naturally not because of instinct but just because I’d like to experiment with a recipe I saw online. I mainly cook chinese, japanese and some western cuisines.
I also love Gunpla. It has been a long time passion of mine as I am a sucker for mecha. Recently, I have started exploring painting. I feel that I would like to take my model kit hobby a step further by finishing the model nicely in a coat of paint. Putting the Gunpla together is only half the fun. I guess this would be my otaku side as I’m a big fan of the Gundam franchise.
My other passion would be music. I can NEVER LIVE WITHOUT MUSIC. Its food for the soul i tell you! Of course, I am particular when it comes to the kind of music i listen to. Though I am open to the many genres of music out there, there are some that are just pointless and for that moment music, the kind that never really makes a lasting impression. A passing phase. I play the guitar and no, its not just to chase chicks, its to pursue my passion in a more deeper manner by playing it, not just listening. It allows one to understand the structure and phrasing behind each song and sure enough there is always sometime for one to learn.
Generally, I’m a pretty open minded person, sociable, friendly, though some might think otherwise, the first time they see me.
